Kinsale at Large

MMC :: in September 1, 2015 :: in Ireland :: 1 comment

Meant to post this last night obviously, but had reached the end of my patience with wandering for Wifi.

Well, the Wifi’s not great in the room we’re in, so I’ll leave with the fact that we made it to Kinsale.

Interestingly, we both separately were desirous of visiting this town. And we both together weren’t deterred by people in Killarney telling us that we’d never find anything to do in Kinsale. When we arrived, we both had a similar visceral reaction to Kinsale. We like this place.

I think that our jam sessions back home need more jigs and reels. And yes, I'm looking at you, Mr. Lussier. Get on that. You can play at least five of the instruments here.

I was not spared dancing; when I asked his name he answered 'Good Time Jack.' Quite.

I would also like to state for the record that Daddy isn’t sore today from the misery he was made to endure two days ago. If that isn’t winning, then I don’t know what is.

We also visited Muckross House and walked to Torc Waterfall yesterday, but I won’t bore you with those pictures. My how I like grand houses, though.

Today we’re off to explore more of Kinsale, so get excited for some quaint pictures in tonight’s post.

Finally, an obligatory panorama from yesterday’s drive to Cork:
